I recently decided to start working from home and felt very confident in my abilities to work as a transcriptionist. After having failed my first test I was saddened and wondering how I would learn the skills needed for this job. I was very happy to be offered the opportunity to take the courses on TranscoMedia. The courses were very clear and easy to follow. There were plenty of practice opportunities throughout the course to allow you to become familiar with transcription. I liked that it included a few different companies and went over the fact that each company has different formats and styles. I’m now ready to retake the test along with applying for other companies and feel more prepared for what is to come.
